Alexa is a Senior Associate at Risa Heller Communications and joined the firm in November 2021. Most recently, she worked at a Washington D.C.-based political fundraising firm, where she helped coordinate fundraising efforts for several U.S. House of Representatives incumbents and candidates. Earlier, Alexa interned at the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, working on both the communications and organizing teams during the 2020 presidential election cycle. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a B.S. in Political Science and Community & Nonprofit Leadership.
