Hazel Crampton-Hays is a Vice President at Risa Heller Communications, specializing in crisis and strategic communications. She brings nearly a decade of experience serving at the highest levels of New York government and politics. Most recently, Hazel served as Press Secretary to Governor Kathy Hochul, leading press strategy from the Governor’s transition into office through two legislative sessions. Previously, she served as Press Secretary to New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer and First Deputy Press Secretary to Governor Andrew Cuomo. Hazel graduated from Oberlin College with a B.A. in Politics and Religion.
