Ivan is a Senior Associate at Risa Heller Communications and joined the firm in June 2023. Most recently, he worked for New York City Mayor Eric Adams as Communications Research Director, leading a team that supported media response and strategy.

Previously, Ivan held various roles as a political campaign organizer and public service professional, including for then-U.S. Senator Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign, Brooklyn Legal Services Corporation A, and the New York City Council. Ivan graduated from Middlebury College with a B.A. in Italian and Political Science.
